Hey and happy Tuesday!
We did it! We did it! We made it through three big bouts of sheer stuff, this newsletter being the most jam-packed of them all. Last Tuesday was sheer tunics, Friday had sheer dresses and tops, and today is all about sheer skirts and pants! Today’s missive has:
1. One styled outfit with the craziest sheer layer shorts
2. Eight looks that combine one solid top with one sheer bottom
3. A hearty helping of fifteen additional sheer bottoms
I’ve always had a penchant and preference for sheer bottoms because 1. I really like showing off my legs but in a more ~mysterious~ way and 2. They’re harder to style which makes for a fun sartorial challenge! There’s something so confident about wearing a sheer skirt or pant and what is good style if not leading with confidence? I’ll keep the commentary short because this one is more show than tell, so take a look and let the soft, sensuous smattering of sheers wash over you.
Happy shopping!
These shorts are so fanciful I can’t stand it. The sheer layer is wholly unnecessary but it’s so special! In any other color I would say it leans too close to costume, but in black you lose the pageantry but keep the drama. I’d wear it with a cropped turtleneck and black & gold belt like the seller did, but instead of espadrilles I would wear sheer tights and these ankle boots. With this outfit, every sidewalk is your runway, and you are the star of the show! I also found this sheer overlay romper as another fun option!
