Hi and happy Friday!
It’s a beautiful day, we’ve got lots of good stuff to get through, and I’m sure we’re all champing at the bit to get to the weekend (it was years before I learned this phrase was champing and not chomping). ANYHOW, I’m going to try a new method of madness and 1. share the big list of ‘Things I Like’ before three different styled looks and 2. I’m going to be less chatty! Let me know in the comments if you prefer my verbose methodology or appreciate when I K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid).
Happy Shopping!
1. Cream knit dress/cardi set, $85. Needs a Mediterranean coastline, stat!
2. Black print ruffle sun dress, $35. First date? Brunch? Wedding guest?
3. Spiegel plum silk skirt set, $60. The sexiness of this outfit is off the charts.
4. Tan cord detail jumpsuit, $25. Note the cord ankle/waist detail and cargo pockets!
5. Black net top, $40. The ideal layering piece.
6. Black micropleat Grecian dress, $50. Needs an Aegean coastline, stat!
7. Moschino Cheap & Chic mink sandals, $70. Fun feet for fun people.
8. Navy Chanel-lite pant suit, $49. Very Chanel vibes, very un-Chanel price.
9. Split-front lace-up pants, $20. And lace-up waist! Great for showing off gams and footwear.
10. Missoni-esque crochet skirt set, $55. Beach wedding? Yacht party? Every day?
11. Brown patchwork suede pants, $49. Wear with #21.
12. Horseman’s duster coat, $62. The buttons! The pockets! The canvas!
13. Black sleek polo dress, $49. Sleek and chic. A thousand times yes.
14. B&W gingham long blazer, $15. Wear with white tee + #5 + jeans.
15. Ruched strapless print dress, $30. Needs a mid-00s dance floor.
16. B&W striped maxidress, $24. Love this simplicity.
17. Black ruched minidress, $15. Click the link! Very cool drape.
18. Open-back red top, $20. Unassuming in the front, back-baring from behind.
19. Brown laced skirt, $30. Good detail, good color.
20. Duster-length boucle coat, $65. Classic and chic. A thousand times yes.
21. Chartreuse sleeveless knit, $18. Satisfying weight and unexpected color!
Another sheer bottom look for the pantheon. Taupe mini dress + taupe sheer skirt = chic wedding guest look. OTT collar + weighty but simple sandals = good balance and color contrast. Clear tortoise cylinder bag? Really cool. Just needs low pony/chignon and a tan.
Wear the cotton scarf wrapped tight under the turtleneck for pop of print, at the wrist for a pop of print, or tied to whatever bag you’re carrying for, you guessed it…a pop of print. Add pop of color at your feet and a pop of metallic on your pointer finger. This outfit is guranteed to pop!
Unexpected print and color combo! Luscious silks + beads + suede! Very Tory Burch vibe altogether. Could be for work or play or whatever else falls in between that spectrum.
Let me know what you think about the curtness and as always let me know if you purchase something - I love to hear it! Thanks as always for being here xx Maggie
I love your commentary (the long and the short versions alike)
