Sample Platter 09: Sheers, stripes, silks
There's also a three-piece set in here that's not to be missed
Hi and happy Wednesday!
As promised, here’s a little amuse-bouche to tide you over until next Wednesday! As usual, it’s just a little smattering of things that I found, liked, and figured you don’t need styling assistance to appreciate. One quick q before you dive in, I had started amassing my secondhand purchases from 2024 before my computer crashed and wasn’t sure if it was still something you’d be interested to read about even though the year is two weeks in?
Keeping it short and sweet - happy shopping! xx
1. Black sheer organza tunic, $44. Can’t stop, won’t stop with stiff, sheer blouses.
2. Striped rainbow mules, $33. I had a pair of these in the store and they didn’t last an hour. the silk, the colors, the mule silhouette - pure joy.
3. Charcoal mohair cardigan/dress set, $21. SO Elizabeth Bennet romantically walking to Netherfield to check on Jane.
4. Magenta striped silk shirt, $28. The red striped shirt from Sunday sold immediately, so here’s another, bolder option.
5. Sheer floral mesh cami, $35. Worn with just a little bralette, or with an oversized white oxford worn open, or over a silk slip dress? This little sheer wonder can do it all.
6. Carlisle tan & black quilted silk jacket, $34. This is one of those jackets you’d see a heroine in a mid-90s movie just throw on and it would haunt you for the rest of your life. Luckily I’m here to save you from a lifetime of aching.
7. Red orange suede moto miniskirt, $36. Isabel Marant vibes, just needs a big, fringed, slouchy cream sweater to complete the look.
8. Black patent floral mesh slides, $20. Basically #5 but in shoe form.
9. Cropped boxy black leather jacket, $40. About as classic a leather jacket as can be. Very Scanlan Theodore or Jil Sander. Would wear with a white turtleneck, bootcut jeans and black pointed boots.
10. Gold mesh mega hook necklace, $32. Digging this oversized clasp.
11. Express three-piece chocolate set, $51. Vest + maxi skirt for now. Vest + mini skirt for later. Ugh so good.
Thanks as always for being here, and as I said Sunday, the new RGV schedule starts next Wednesday (but you never know when a surprise edition might hit your inbox!). xx Maggie
