Hi and happy Wednesday x
Before we dive into The Busy World of Richard Vintage™, I have some questions for you about what you’d most like to see with this newsletter. Since opening the shop, I’ve felt a little stretched thin and the newsletter - while I’m still proud of it and love it! - feels like it could use more one-on-one attention.
So, are there features you’d most like to see? Current favorite features? Ways to expound on sharing vintage that I haven’t dipped my toes into? I can only add a poll for ideas I have tumbling around my brain, but that doesn’t leave room for commentary from you all! So if you have a moment, can you share in the comments things you like and want to see more of or topics you want me to tackle? An example: I love when
shares her styling ideas by modeling them with her own wardrobe. I have a much more limited closet and color scheme - but is that something you’d like me to share? Or I know there are a few fantastic Substacks that share what they buy each month - would you be interested in hearing how I spend my money?I can’t thank you enough for any and all feedback! While this newsletter is obviously my brain baby, I’m delivering it to you and I want us to be successful and happy co-parents. Please do drop a comment with any notes!
In the meantime, I recently styled my last of two remaining styled photoshoots for my store, and posted this BTS photo:
I don’t know if I’ve seen people more excited about a sparkly fish before (except maybe the Rainbow Fish?) but fishbone jewelry has long been a favorite of mine (I shared a bracelet in my very first newsletter!). So I figured I’d do a little round-up of some cool pieces I wouldn’t mind owning. There’s also one non-fish piece in the form of a panther-handled handbag that is a bucket list piece of mine! SO good.
Happy shopping xx
