Good morning, angels!
As I said last Tuesday, I had so much fun finding all this home goods stuff that I ended up with two overflowing newsletters filled to the brim with things for you…or things for other people? I hadn’t planned on making a gift guide, but ya know, life finds a way. If these two newsletters still aren’t enough to whet your whistle, check out last Friday’s issue, too, where I use all this home inspo to find some phenom fashion.
BUT WAIT! Before we get to home goods shopping, I wanted to give you a sneak peek of the holiday looks that will be dropping on the website next week! Modeled by my good friend, Charlotte and shot by the incredible Elizabeth Withers, there’s a price and a vibe for everyone. All this week I’ll be posting previews on Instagram, but here are a few for you now:
And now here’s round two of home goods! This second verse is same as the first: I’m keeping it brief so you can focus on the good stuff (and don’t forget you can click the images to enlarge them)!
1. Brutalist disc bookends, $14. So chic, so affordable.
2. Polish "Working Girl" movie poster, $215. Polish movie posters are a GOLDMINE. They’re always much more surrealist and cerebral than their US counterparts.
3. Mexican copper candelabra, $60. Another one because the one last week sold so quick!
4. Painted vegetable duo, $32. A little rustic, a lot precious.
5. Wood goblet pair, $39. What! The patience it took to make whittle these!
6. Ceramic face vase, $36. I know a lot of people are over face vases, but this one is so minimal and I love the height of it.
7. Carved pyramid box, $79. Another piece of '“tramp art” - the base of this is a cigar box!
8. Fat lava diamond vase, $140. I’m on a real fat lava kick, and I like the divergence from red (don’t worry there’s some red lava pottery in here, too).
9. Cast iron tree, $33. A little branched objet for your book stacks.
10. Torch-cut Brutalist lamp, $83. Here’s a little change from the usual torch-cut brass.
11. Louis Sognot rattan sconce, $199. There a few of these on Etsy, and would be so cool as sconces over bedside tables.
12. Dog folk art, $275. Imagine this in a gallery wall with #2 and #4.
1. Jade lily lamp, $100. Love the drape of the glass, a very romantic lil lamp.
2. Brown acrylic candleholder trio, $30. Personally I would find three little bowls and use these as jewelry holders on my dresser.
3. Cut-out base ceramic cups, $49. This cut-out detail! Old shit is so special.
4. Olive velvet picture frame, $50. Add it to the gallery wall with the dog picture.
5. ‘99 Alexandra Merker landscape, $59 & 60s Alexandra Merker landscape, $51. These are from the same artist, 30 years apart, and I love how they feature a similar vista with similar coloration but are rendered so differently (these were just marked down, too!).
6. Smoked glass relief art, $52. OMG! If you know a gorgeous family like this, you’ll have the most gorgeous piece of art for them!
7. Orange record holder, $40. Perfect for a small collection or keeping your favorites in close rotation.
8. Mustard floral candleholders, $50. These would be great with striped candles.
9. Swedish red candelabra, $61. Broken record, but: add striped candles.
10. Farmhouse corner chair, $209. As far as cool and off-kilter goes, this is tops.
1. Red enamel lamp trio, $165. The color is very good and I really like that they’re enamel.
2. Tramp lamp, $85. Another one! This time unpainted.
3. Brass hand door knocker, $52. I would turn this upside down, flip the hand out, and use it as a hook!
4. Maroon & cream striped afghan, $20. Bold and warm! What else ya need?
5. Studded leather mirror, $55. This is a total deal. It’s really big!
6. Brass flower sculpture/ashtrays, $100. These are very collectible. Each petal can be removed and used as a personal ashtray or kept together as a piece of art.
7. Midcentury wood salad bowl, $35. Graphic and a great size! Your salads will thank you.
8. Needlepoint city scene, $86. This is a needlepoint! Add this to your gallery wall, too.
9. Red yarn trivets, $10. Love this color - a really good host gift!
10. Hungarian pillow, $73. Gorg.
11. Red flower/yellow leaves vase, $79. Like how bold the flower is on this one.
12. Red flower lava pitcher, $50. Told ya! More lava pottery! This time in pitcher form.
13. Squiggle red serving set, $32. 90s does 70s. Use em with #7.
14. Indonesian cat stool/stand, $71. Click the link! The cat’s face is worth it.
15. Pair of maroon velvet frames, $35. I would either add these to the gallery wall we’re building, or hang them stacked in a little sliver of wall - like between two doorways.
1. Mounted silverware art, $20. So weird and unnecessary which automatically means I have to have it.
2. Abstract wood bookends, $65. Organic and cool.
3. Brass torch-cut wall hanging, $55. You can’t convince me this wasn’t inspired by these. Ever heard of mud daubers?
4. Scandinavian gold & cobalt glass candelabra, $83. Gorgeous centerpiece for dinner. Mayhap add striped candles?
5. George Borum stacked wood frame, $150. In case you liked the cigar box from earlier but wish you could hang it on a wall.
6. Stoneware mirror, $210. In case a leather studded mirror isn’t your jam.
7. Brutalist candleholder, $55. Could easily use this as a bookend, too.
8. Three-legged wood stool, $89. For plants! Or feet! Or butts!
Hope you found some treasures! I always love to hear when you make a purchase from these or tag me in your IGs! Thanks as always for being here xx
Maggie
