Happy Tuesday!
Hope your week is going swimmingly, and you’re feeling as good as I am because I must say, I really outdid myself this time. Arch Digest? Dwell? Sight Unseen? You looking for content creators because I GOT you.
Anyhow, I’m so energized by this new interiors style that's been cropping up on my Instagram and found so much stuff that fits the bill that this is merely part ONE of this home goods series. Next Tuesday will come another one of these bad boys with more weird, cool home goods.
Now what is this new style? I won’t pretend I’m clever enough to give it a name (maybe it already has one?) but it’s a cool mix of everything already out there: bold, brash colors; organic, natural minimalism; folk pastoral; vintage! Any kind of oddity or handmade objet is welcome in this style, so expect a few of those below, too. Honestly it kind of reminds me of Pier One in its heyday when I was a kid (LOVED spending a Saturday there with my mom), except what you’ll find here is all one-of-a-kind stuff instead of a reproduced facsimile.
You may remember from my previous home goods post that I’m a fan of minimalism & the 1970s, and this new style slides right there in the middle. There’s a lot of influence from different countries and so much of what brings warmth and vibrancy to this interior style is based on those culture’s crafts. Be sure to collect with care and knowledge!
Expect a very short blurb for each and get! to! shopping!
