Dress sets and jumpsuits and a horny belt buckle
+ Calling all greens, blues, browns, and greys!
Hi and happy Friday!
First and foremost, a huge thank you to everyone who came out to the pop-up this weekend! What a thrill and honor it was to meet readers irl - it is truly surreal that this newsletter reaches and resonates with you all and I am deliriously happy for it! And one more shout-out to Club Vintage and St. Hrouda for letting me set up temporary shop at their stores the last two weeks.
Second, I’ve made an editorial decision to make my life easier! Every Friday will be a ‘Things I Like’ with a big edit of cool things I found during the week. And each Tuesday will be more styling-heavy with either fully-styled looks, ‘1-2 punches’, or any video content. If you want to upgrade to keep tabs on that, please do, but never fear you’ll still get 20-35 really good vintage pieces each week regardless!
Third, as I said Tuesday, this week I was feeling the color combos of green, blue, grey, and brown, with which I styled six looks. And below is a continued rumination with 26 pieces I loved! Lots of sets, jumpsuits, outerwear, and one very randy brass belt buckle.
Happy shopping!
1. Brown thigh slit dress, $30. You get it.
2. Cropped flared denim, $35. This is a cut of denim that pairs exceedingly well with an oversized button down.
3. Ostrich bag, $50. Chiiiic.
4. Sage crepe vest jumpsuit, $39. Great color and love the satin sash and buttons.
5. Grey faux suede dress/jacket set, $17. For Clueless fans sans plaid! This is SO cute.
6. Nude duo belt buckle, $35. This is so overt it’s circled around from skeezy to just plain fun(ny). Add some goofy spice to any outfit!
7. Rust vest romper, $28. Just add #12 + some brown oxfords.
8. Alberto Makali beige jumpsuit, $89. In case the sage from #4 isn’t your thing? Or you love jumpsuits and want both? Or you’re a bride?
9. Green velvet watercolor blazer, $60. Gorgeous! Such a pretty and painterly effect. Very Cool Art Personâ„¢ blazer.
10. Flower power jacket/dress set, $90. This is a set! I would slightly shorten the dress for the full mod 60s vibe.
11. Chartreuse floral split tunic/skirt set, $45. It’s the split up the front of the tunic that sells this whole thing.
12. Forest green denim jacket, $40. A classic in a great color.
13. Pale blue pocket-front minidress, $32. The dress is so cute but then they had to go and add a pocket in the front?! Ever cuter!
14. Brown princess coat dress, $14. Wow is this a deal.
15. Armani striped flower blouse, $35. The fabric is like seersucker and a stylistic younger cousin to this top!
16. Bally quilted convertible backpack, $89. I know it’s already Bally but it’s giving Bottega.
17. Beige leather Justin boots, $54. Eternal classics and would look amazing tucked under #2.
18. Cream boned bustier, $16. I know bustiers had a moment last year, but I’m still into them, especially one so sleek as this.
19. Mesh-side maxidress/cover-up, $22. Stop the presses!!! Look at the sides of this thing!!!
20. Green faux fur zigzag coat, $45. Like wearing a fuzzy iguana (and that sounds pretty alright to me).
21. Dior satin lace cami, $36. Hard to beat!
22. Silk tie-dye sheer-sleeve tunic, $35. Definitely Portia vibes but the details are so special.
23. Black tulle purse, $64. Like carrying a ball of smoke (and that sounds pretty sexy to me).
24. Cream quilted blazer, $35. Louis Vuitton just had one of these walk the runway for fall.
25. Feather velvet vest/jacket set, $25. This print! This is one you need to click to see how good it is.
26. Shimmery pewter dress/sheer jacket set, $24 (here it is in teal). Like #5 but shiny and sheer!
Thanks so much for being here and have a great weekend! xx Maggie
