A minidress with the places of Paris
+ a printed plisse, a linen pinstripe, & then lots of other things that aren't dresses!
Hi hello and happy Friday!
Before we dive in I just wanted to dole out a hearty thank you for helping me figure out the next little steps for sharing and selling all of the fantastic vintage clothes I’ve been sourcing! I’ll share here when I get my first sale together, but feel free to follow along on IG, too, as I’ll have more timely updates there. But that’s not the end of me asking for your assistance! I am *this* close to reaching 1,000 subscribers for this little passion/obsession project, so if you can share this bad boy (or subscribe if you haven’t yet!) and push me over the edge, I would very much appreciate it!
Anywho, Tuesday I styled four looks featuring square neck tanks and shared 20 extra options to shop! For today’s list, it’s a return to the neutrals you’ve come to know and love, with an incredible minidress emblazoned with the sights of Paris, some excellent striped pants, and a few peekaboo sheer pieces.
Happy shopping!
1. Parisian places minidress, $55. I know this could swing into cheesy territory but because the embroidery is the same color as the dress, it lands on chic with a wink and I love it!
2. Plisse print sleeveless dress, $49. A very cool option for a cool wedding guest look - just add #20? The multiple waist ties are a great touch.
3. Brown & beige layered mesh tank, $91. Pricey but very 1998 Margiela (hence the header photo!).
4. Tan cropped roll neck knit, $35. Cute! I usually only ever see this in long sleeve form so either someone DIY’d this or we happened upon a holy grail of spring knits!
5. Pinstripe linen column dress, $30. Are you surprised? You know this is right up my alley!
6. White cotton trousers, $45. Yes yes yes. So cute with #9, #13, or #14.
7. Brass leaf belt, $24. What a deal! These usually go for $100+. Would be a nice addition to a loose slip dress.
8. Navy silk faux wrap column dress, $16. Simple and chic! A great fancy wedding guest look, just add big gold earrings.
9. Crochet strap tank, $30. These straps!
10. Black sheer single button top, $52. Would absolutely wear this with a cute black bra, #11, and #20. Also a fab beach coverup with some jeans shorts or a cotton skirt!
11. Brown striped Cacharel pants, $48. LOVE a bold stripe and the length of these are spring- and summer-ready!
12. Navy grid strappy back dress, $59. Click this link! One of those ‘throw-on-and-go’ dresses and the back is fantastic!
13. Goose sweatshirt, $25. I know this is so weird but I really enjoy weird. Who is Goose? What is Goose? Is this sweatshirt an homage to the territorial terror? I don’t know but it’s awesome. Plus the font is great.
14. Ivory vest, $28. I actually sold one of these in NYC! Really nice quality and can take you anywhere!
15. Ungaro zip-front shoulder top, $47. Very80s-does-40s and it’s just so flattering! Imagine this with some medium wash bootcut jeans and a tall pair of slide sandals. Yowza.
16. Cream sheer-panel linen skirt, $38. Romantic and lovely. Really pretty with #19 and some strappy sandals.
17. Navy & white striped pants, $20. How cool are these?! So sad they’re not my size. Fab with the ole Goose up there or #23 for a fancier take.
18. Cream textured pant set, $40. A summer-ready set! Is kind of a beige seersucker-style print and very breathable.
19. Brown fish print silk halter top, $39. Click the link to see this print! This kind of drape always wears well and it’s backless!
20. Slide wedges, $31. Like you couldn’t wear these all the time, everywhere…pshh. (you could) (easily)
21. Anne Klein navy studded swimsuit, $55. Cute! I love a good one piece, if for no other reason than I like wearing them as tops, too.
22. White denim patch Jordache dress, $26. This is for young Maggie, for whom this dress would have been the coolest piece in her closet.
23. Navy sheer hem & sleeve top, $45. Don’t sleep on this! The hem of this top is sheer, as well as the sleeves! Blazer-cut, rayon drape? This one will surprise you how amazing it is.
24. Patchwork denim jacket, $45. Classic denim meets Carharrt jacket and I’m into it.
Thank you so much as always for being here and for your continued support. Have a great weekend! xx Maggie
