Welcome to Shop Talk (formerly “In Conversation with…”) a monthly series where I chat vintage, shopping, and style with cool and exciting people who are making waves in their respective fields.
Today’s subject is Erika Veurink, writer of the Substack newsletter, Long Live, one of (the??) coolest ones out there. But that’s the least she does! She regularly contributes to NY Mag, Vogue, GQ, and Architectural Digest and created EV Salon where she curates connections between people, businesses, and brands in an intimate, thoughtful milieu.
I was first introduced to Erika here on Substack as an eternally supportive fellow writer and curator. Once I started following Long Live, the inspiration came pouring in! She has a preternatural knack for connecting current trends to past designers and brands seamlessly. And her reels on IG are always saying what I can’t - her monotone delivery paired with her dynamic and always on-point content is “Oh I just threw this on and look amazing” epitomized. I aspire to her vibe and I’m sure you will, too. Follow her on Instagram, follow EV Salon here, and sign up for her newsletter here.
