Sample Platter 20: A dress bonanza!
Criss cross backs, netting, sheer bits, and linens abound

Hope your week is going swimmingly. I’ve recently been planning my next photoshoot and as I was putting together today’s platter, I realized I’d been heavily influenced by my own research. The next shoot has these vibes:
All black and cream with sheer details, cut-outs, and sensual - I can’t wait to bring it to life. In the meantime I’ve gathered tons of dresses ranging from loose linen, to cut-out and slinky, to full glam. Thrown into the mix are cut-out shirts (à la Nobody Wants This), sterling earrings, and lace-up details! And before all of that is a serendipitous ‘Vintage Copycat’ for the casual Carrie Bradshaw fans.

Sometimes when I’m sourcing for the newsletter, the outfits find me. Case in point, I was perusing the new arrivals on TheRealReal last week and on the same page found the top, shorts (that have since sold so I found a vintage pair), and the heels! It was like TRR was begging me to recreate this Carrie Bradshaw scene where she chases Pete and defies all laws of physics by sprinting in high heel slides. So here we are! Who am I to deny sartorial fate?
