Happy Meg Ryan fall!

There may be a million versions of this post floating around the internet and not to toot my own horn, but this one might be the best? And what, you may ask, makes me the ultimate interpreter of Meg Ryan movie fashion?…Honestly probably not much more than your own credentials, but I found amazing things on Ebay & The RealReal, this newsletter exists, so here we go!

In my youth, my most precious days were having windows open with a chill breeze, sipping hot cocoa, and watching You’ve Got Mail. Then in college I got absolutely hooked on French Kiss because vineyards, frolicking around France, and Kevin Kline hello. And now, mid-thirties, living in New York and relishing the cinematic autumns that I once only saw on the screen, When Harry met Sally is the absolute ultimate fall film for me. To round out the mix are two other Meg Ryan films that never quite hit the right note for me, but I still love the fashion, so please welcome Sleepless in Seattle & Hanging Up.

A note: the following outfits are not remakes of outfits from the movies. These outfits are inspired by the vibe and character from each movie, and then extrapolated into more modern looks. To be fair, though, most of these characters could share a closet and most of these characters’ looks could also look veryyyy cozy in my own closet.

From favorite Meg movie to least, but with five looks I love equally, I present to you Meg Ryan’s Fall Fashion Bonanza!
