Hi and happy Friday!

It’s snowing! I can handle any cold and grey as long as it looks like a winter wonderland outside my window, so I’m pleased as punch. This week, though, like the last few, was rife with lack of inspiration thus I fell back on my trusty method of looking indoors for motivation to get dressed for outdoors. So today we have six interiors and the looks inspired by them! Because it is truly winter now, most of them will have a base outfit for spring/fall weather and then extra wintry items to add should your backyard resemble mine. There are three neutral looks and three (!) with color so…

Happy shopping!

*p.s. items with an asterisk received offers after saved to liked items*

Perry Ellis cream cropped turtleneck, $32 // Brown & black leather panel skirt, $79 // Brass brutalist fishbone pin, $25 // Black wool bomber jacket, $48 // Robert Clergerie chunky oxfords, $63 // Black catsuit, $20 // London Fog black wool coat, $20

I actually found this skirt first and then sought out any image with stripes because I wanted to use it so badly! So our base outfit is this cropped Aran-style turtleneck with paneled leather skirt, sheer tights (not pictured), and chunky oxfords. To keep the cropped look and the skirt as the main show, I added a wool bomber that clearly needed a little brass fish for something a little special! If you’re freezing, ditch the tights and throw on this catsuit as an extra layer (one of my favorite ways to add warmth) and some chunky black socks (also not pictured but you know you own some). Finally, this coat will cover you all the way up, but with the collarless wool bomber, you’ll still have your turtleneck peeking through and add your fish friend to your coat collar for a textural layered delight!

Cobalt zip-off leather jacket, $69 // Rust tshirt, $35* // High waist banded cigarette pants, $67 // Tod’s suede loafers, $56

This one doesn’t have much winterization but not everyone has had snowfall recently! Cobalt and brown is one of my favorite color combinations (as seen here) but with the additions of rust/brick/classic red, it really becomes a toothsome ‘fit. The pants and tee are so sleek, especially when paired with a pop! of red sock and loafers to match the pants. A kind of 60s office vibe to them, really. Then the real showstopper is this leather jacket that can zip off to be cropped, too! Different silhouettes depending on your mood! A rich, color-blocked dream.
