The last week has been complete mayhem getting the shop together, but it’s coming along! Things are hung, getting priced, and the thing I’m most excited about is a photoshoot I put together for the first web drop on the store’s grand opening weekend. Here’s just a few of the looks:

Vintage Valentino, Pierre Cardin, this gold disc dress (!!!), silk & linen sets - all the hits and all so stunning I can barely stand it. I’ll keep you apprised here, but for more timely updates, follow me over on IG!

In the meantime, I’ve amassed some great summertime pieces for your perusal and have a short but sweet vintage copycat, too. I have four days to get the shop where I need it and my brain is addled and running ten different marathons, so my notes will be brief, but the vintage will still deliver!

post about this fabulous Simon Miller set the other day and was like, “wait that looks familiar”! In case you don’t have $450 to spare but still want the black tunic & pant set look, may I introduce you to this vintage Ann Taylor duo? Simon or Ann, both are so chic and so easy to remix a million different ways. Tunic would be great over a drop waist pleated skirt, a mini skirt, Bermuda shorts! The pants would be amazing with a button down, a bandeau, a cropped knit! You can’t lose.

1. Gene Ewing BIS black wrap shirt, $19. A budget-friendly take on Yohji Yamamoto.

2. Leilei yellow silk short set, $25*. BE the sunshine.

3. Big cat henley, $75. Fantastical, artistic, and would be great with #16.

4. St. Agni white linen tank, $58. I guess I’m never not a square tank person.

5. Express abstract print tunic/pant set, $60*. Like the Ann Taylor/Simon Miller set but in print! So chic and a nice nod to the 60s.

6. The Limited striped tube top, $14. I’m blissfully back in tube top land. Join me, the 2002 water is fiiiiine. (Pair with #9 obvs).

7. Tan striped sundress, $45*. Just a cute classic! For the days that are too hot or too long to think much about what to wear.

8. Contempo Casuals white tank dress, $15. Unbeatable, both in ease and price.

9. Miu Miu denim shorts, $100. Love the two-tone and length.

10. Dior Sports red cargo pants, $99. Dior Sports is a diffusion line not to be missed. Gonna do a dive on it soon bc it’s a deep, deep well of great stuff.

11. Givenchy baby blue “G” knit tank, $75. Why not mix your labels and play with the color wheel at the same time? Would be so good with the Dior pants.

12. Anne Klein tan drawstring crop top, $30. Click the link! Such a simple and great detail and silhouette.

13. Lim’s broderie anglaise white skirt, $40. Really enamored of broderie anglaise lately and may just do a dive on this, too. Wear with #18.

17. Wide leg jeans, $65*. I always find it so hard to sniff out good jeans so I try to share those I think are special. Such a classic color and great leg width.

19. Jaeger green short suit, $65. Hel-lo favorite unexpected color in suit form!

20. The Villager ticking striped jacket, $18. Very Aimé Leon Dore/Bode/Rowing Blazers.
