Hi and happy Friday!
First things first: outside of the items still available on the website and an upcoming pop-up at the Drunken Flea on July 15, I just sent some incredible vintage (think Prada, Dior, Gunne Sax) up to Club Vintage this week, so you have three ways to shop RGV right now, from KY to NY!
Second, this week’s paid newsletter took the below 3-piece pinstripe short suit, split the pieces up, and styled them in all different ways AND there was a round-up of some of my other favorite vest sets. Check ‘em out and read it here!
In a return to form, we’ve got some favorite things I’ve found over the last week, so get to it! There’s more earrings, a Vivienne Tam for a steal, a Dior lingerie set (!), and then as usual some amazing no-name vintage that will be closet heroes in no time.
Happy shopping!
1. Oatmeal gauze pant set, $60. Love the pockets on this crop top, along with the color and summer fabric! Excellent for traversing cobblestone streets and exploring new cities with a little pair of black strappy sandals.
2. Sterling layered earrings, $25. Can’t stop, won’t stop. Powerful and dynamic.
3. Black leather vest, $20. The high cut of this piece means you evade the too-low/too-wide armpit and too-deep neckline of many vests. This is a chief candidate for being worn as a top but would look amazing over a big, white, blousy top, too!
4. Vivienne Tam mesh dress, $22. Can you even imagine! A Vivienne Tam not only under $100 but under $25! I’m legally required as a vintage lover to share this with you.
5. Beige YSL jeans, $50. Great color, great pocket, AND they’re a larger size!
6. Dior lingerie set, $30. In my dreams I’m someone who wakes up in a sun-dappled loft wearing this. Unfortunately I’m a big t-shirt person and am currently residing in a cave of a basement. Doesn’t mean we can’t manifest!
7. Black Prada flip flops, $125. A classic. Probably pretty darn good with the set from #1.
8. B&W linen blouse, $15. I know this is a weird photo but the detail on the neckline and pocket are well worth the $15. The kind of top you can throw on and feel put together - even in the sweltering summer months.
9. Black silk pant set, $50. Chic chic chic. And don’t let the Tommy Bahama label fool you - they have great quality silks! Add #16 obvs.
10. B&W striped Guess crop top, $33. Cute and casual and cropped to perfection.
11. Red angora polo, $25. Love these forever! Like Vivienne Tam, these angora polos usually go for $85+ so this is a bargain if you’re ready to start thinking fall.
12. Cream patchwork leather fanny pack, $38. Since I left New York, I no longer need my giant backpack to hold my water bottle (and umbrella)(and snack)(and maybe another layer), so I’ve been wearing a fanny pack daily and am enamored. Mine’s black and nylon so I love the elevated feel of this cream leather number. Great with #1 for hands-free travel!
13. Taupe silk skirt set, $54. Another chic chic chic. Add #15 obvs.
14. White linen lace-up back dress, $32. A sweet sundress that will hug your body in all the right ways thanks to the lace-up back. Another great option for wandering streets and beaches and faraway places.
15. Silvertone twist earrings, $15. The ways these hook are so cool.
16. Black YSL heels, $65. A closet staple with a very reasonable heel. Very About Arianne, but the original!
17. White checkered sundress, $35. So fun! For dancing on a hot night in a new city (can you tell I have travel on the brain?).
18. Celluloid green heart necklace, $40. Unlike what I usually share but too cool not to! The clear links, the big green heart - imagine this with #9 and how unexpected it is. Like I said, too cool.
Thanks as always for being here and hope you have a great weekend! xx Maggie
