All hail the LBD

Classics are classics for a reason!

As we drive headlong into PartyTown, USA (aka the holidays), I figured there’s no smoother ride than the classic LBD. There are sequins and paillettes, beads and fringe, no shortage of sheer, and all ready for whatever events await you.

I’ll be honest, I was thrilled when I found the dresses I amassed below but they somehow lose their luster when clumped together in one collage. That’s why I beg of you to take the time to give these a good look. First, black is hard to photograph, so some of these have details not easily seen in these small photos. Second, these are all such deals and deserve a close inspection! I’ll offer my usual commentary below to help highlight what makes these so special and hopefully you find something you love or are just inspired to dig out your old sequin dress that’s been languishing in the closet for the last year.
